Wraps per inch (WPI) is a useful tool for spinners, knitters and crocheters to determine the weight of yarn.
Simply wrap the yarn around the 1" section of the tool (You should try to get the strands as close as possible without overlapping them or leaving holes.) Then count the total number of strands and use the guide at the bottom to decide the weight. e.g. if there are 7 then the weight would be Bulky.
It is made from a premium 4mm maple veneered MDF making it a strong and durable tool which will be useful for many years. The design is UV printed directly onto the surface of the wood.
It comes with a bead chain so you can attach it to your project bag so you have always got it to hand when you need it.
It will be made especially for you in our workshop in Gloucester, UK.
