You will need to purchase an OIL based paint pen/marker. We have found the Sharpie oil based fine tip works well. Standard pens/markers tend to just smudge and rub off the labels.
The labels can be removed and reapplied hundreds of times without leaving a residue. This makes them suitable for both small projects with just a few colours, as well as the larger ones because you change the labels as necessary for the section you are working on.
